Vinton Cerf

Vinton Cerf was born on June 23, 1983, and he is still alive today at 79 years old. Vinton is known as the co-founder of the TCP and IP protocols, as well as the internet. He came up with these protocols while working at Stanford University, with his colleague Robert Kahn. Vinton and Robert earned many awards for their creations, including the A.M. Turing Award, and the U.S. National Medal of Technology.
