Kathleen Booth

Kathleen Booth was born on July 9, 1922, and she is still alive at 100 years old. Kathleen is known for having written the first assembly language and designing the assembler and autocode for the first computer systems at Birkbeck College, University of London. In 1958, she published a book on programing, which was one of the first on the topic, and it was also remarkable because the book was written by a female author.
